How to manage services on a server

To manage services you will need to find the relevant server in the server list, select it, and go to the “Services” tab. This page will display all the services that are installed on your server, as well as their status in real time.

You will have the following options available to you:

  • Reload - will reapply settings without restarting the service.
  • Restart - will kill and restart the service.
  • Start - will start a previously stopped service.
  • Stop - will kill a running service.
  • Info - will show you how much processor time and RAM the selected service is currently using.

When deleting a server, the public SSH key is removed, so ServerSuit will no longer have access to your server.

CPU time (or process time) is the amount of time for which a central processing unit (CPU) was used for processing instructions of a computer program or operating system, as opposed to, for example, waiting for input/output (I/O) operations or entering low-power (idle) mode. The CPU time is measured in clock ticks or seconds. Often, it is useful to measure CPU time as a percentage of the CPU's capacity, which is called the CPU usage.
